A ceremony was held at military barracks ‘NH Strasho Pindzur’ in Petrovec on the occasion of 15th October – the Day of the Air Surveillance and Reporting Battalion (ASRBn), part of the AF WING.
During the ceremony, besides the ASRBn Commander Major Kemal Xhaferi, Colonel Igorcho Stoimenovski – Commander of the AF WING also addressed the present guests emphasizing the importance of the ASRBn in controlling the air space, where the mission – Air Policing is being coordinated by the NATO alliance. Also, he stressed that all previous generations of the ASRBn have put great effort, personally and professionally, in the establishment and development of air surveillance. He told the battalion members, not only to hold those values, but also to promote and enhance them continually as their lifelong commitment.
Congratulation messages to battalion members from the Chief of the Army General Staff and the Commander of the Operations Command were read, and incentives were given.
