Today in the barracks “Strasho Pindzur” in Petrovec and “Mirce Acev” in Prilep, by laying fresh flowers and respecting the “COVID-19” protection measures, the patron days and the 78th anniversary of the execution of national heroes Strasho Pindzur and Mirce Acev were marked.
In the barracks in Petrovec fresh flowers were laid by delegations from the Operations Command, the Air Force WING, the 1st Infantry Brigade, representatives of the Municipality of Kavadarci and the Museum of Kavadarci. In the barracks in Prilep fresh flowers were laid by delegations from the 1st Artillery Battalion.
In the barracks in Petrovec a representative of the Museum of Kavadarci gave a history lesson on the life and work of the national hero Strasho Pindzur. Then the commander of WING Colonel Stojko Pejovski thanked the guests from the command and the municipality of Kavadarci Museum for their selfless contribution to the cooperation for honoring the patron. At the commemoration of the patron day in Prilep, a historical lesson was held on the life and deeds of the national hero Mirce Acev followed by an address of the commander of the garrison, Lieutenant Colonel Slavcho Kuzmanovski.
With the annual marking of the day of their deaths, the members of the barracks in Petrovec and Prilep contribute to keep the deeds of the national heroes Strasho Pindzur and Mirche Acev in the memory of the future generations of the Macedonian people.
