On 11.05.2015 in the Sector for Medical Training within the Military-Medical Center, there was a competition for the purpose of electing the best medic, part of the Logistics Support Brigade staff.
The competition for the best medic was conducted as a part of the planned activities on occasion celebrating the 20-th May –the day of the Logistics Brigade, and all members of the brigade at the post of medic at the military clinic dispensaries within the ARM garrisons took part.
The participants were evaluated on the following procedures: SBO (resuscitation), Hemostasis (bleeding prevention), immobilization of limbs and spine.
The commission board which was made of certified instructors carefully followed the first aid procedures and steps, which if given on time would definitely save a human capacity.
Lance Corporal Jovica Nikolovski, from the clinic dispensary in Teovo, earned the title best medic. He demonstrated high level of skills and knowledge, essential for saving human life.
