The Defense Attaché of the United Kingdom (UK) to the Republic of North Macedonia, Lieutenant Colonel Edward John Green, visited the Command of the First Infantry Brigade (1st IBde) today. The Defense Attaché was welcomed by the commander of the 1st IBde, Brigadier General Dejan Chiplakovski, and the Deputy Commander of the 1st IBde, Colonel Stevan Naumoski.
During the visit, General Chiplakovski briefed the Attaché on the training plans of the brigade, the preparations for upcoming exercises involving brigade units, the modernization process of the unit, the achieved NATO capability goals. Additionally, the importance of continuing successful cooperation with the UK Armed Forces in the future was emphasized.
At the end of the visit, General Chiplakovski expressed his gratitude for the good cooperation with the Defense Attaché, particularly in the area of training and courses for the personnel of the 1st IBde.
