In the period from May 3 to 6, a delegation consisting of the Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Sashko Lafchiski and the Commander of TRADOC, Colonel Vasko Kokolanski, visited the units of the 7th ATC (Seventh Training Command of the US Army) and the 2nd CR (Second Cavalry Regiment) located in Hohenfels, Germany.
During the visit, the delegation was introduced to the capacities for training support, as well as to the forms of training implemented in the 7th ATC as a leading command for training the units of the USEUCOM (United States European Command), as well as the JMRC (Joint Multinational Readiness Center) in which training of multinational formations is carried out, with the goal to achieve the interoperability of the units.
During the visit to the 2nd CR, they discussed the possibilities for deepening and intensifying the cooperation in order to improve the interoperability of the units, as well as the use of the capacities and resources to support the interoperability of our units.
In the further course of the visit, the delegation held meetings with the Commander of the 7th ATC, Brigadier General Joseph Hilbert, the Commander of the 2nd CR, Colonel Robert McChrystal and the Commander of the JMRC, Colonel Anthony Murtha.
The remaining time was used to visit the Army units that were currently training at the training area in Hohenfels.
