The Signals Battalion conducted a Command Post exercise at the “Ilinden” barracks and the Training Center “Pepelishte”, from 11th to 14th November, 2019.
The exercise was realized by executing command and staff activities in field conditions and realization of a military-vocational training with the personnel in accordance with the schedule for implementation of CPE.
The mobile communication information centers company conducted a tactical expert training by engaging the integrated communications platoon in setting and operating a communications center at a command post using different ways of integrating an integrated communications system in the global information system of the Army.
During the exercise, with part of its capacities from the stationary and mobile communication and information system, the signals battalion has verified its own ability to carry out the assigned mission. This tactical expert training in field conditions and realistic logistic support gives a clear picture of the Signals Battalion’s capabilities to carry out its assigned mission, i.e. to provide communication information support to the command and control process at strategic and operational levels.
The results of conducting the exercise will contribute to the overall conception of the military-vocational training of the personnel, individual and team work, as well as organization of the life and work in the unit.
It is a shared conclusion that the exercise is a great opportunity for expanding existing and gaining new knowledge and experience to overcome the challenges we face during the realization of the tasks easily.
