The servicemen of the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade (1st MIB), besides the participation at the largest national exercise “Decisive Strike” organized by our Army at the Krivolak training area, actively participates in exercises outside the Republic of North Macedonia.
On the military field near Vranje in the Republic of Serbia, the international field exercise “Platinum Wolf” from June 1st to June 18th , 2019 is attended by the 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion with one infantry unit and five staff officers from the 1st MIB, while the members of the 4th Mechanized Infantry Battalion, with one infantry platoon and three officers participate in the Strike Back 19 exercise in the Republic of Bulgaria, which is carried out in the period from 06.06 to 21.06.2019.
The participation in these international exercises plays an important role in strengthening the common security. Members of the 1st MIB exercise along with the rest of the armies in the neighborhood, by sharing their knowledge and exchange of experiences between the armies of the participating countries jointly carry out the assigned tasks during the realization of the mentioned exercises.
