According to the Annual plan for 2019, from 7th to 10th October, 2019, servicemen of the command and the headquarters of the Military Police Battalion carried out a command post exercise at locations in the “Ilinden” barracks and the area of the shooting range “Stenkovec”.
The purpose of this exercise is to train and enable the servicemen to apply the procedures during the process of making military decisions (PMMD), prepare documents in accordance with NATO standards and procedures, the steps of PMMD when writing an operational order which can be used by the units of the Military Police Battalion, as well as upgrading military skills.
The Command Post Exercise is realized according to a fictional scenario with three points: preparations for realization of the exercise, realization of the command reconnaissance of the terrain and realization of a live firing with personal weapon.
In the analysis of the exercise it was concluded that the personnel of the Military Police Battalion carried out the exercise successfully and achieved a high level of readiness, professionalism, capability and team work.
