Army Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski had a meeting today with Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Walker, outgoing UK Defense Attaché to the Republic of North Macedonia, and with Lieutenant Colonel Edward John Green, incoming Defence Attaché.
General Gjurchinovski expressed his gratitude for the hitherto engagement and enhancement of the bilateral cooperation during the mandate of Lieutenant Colonel Walker. He also stated his assurance in future continuous cooperation in the area of defence between the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia and the UK Armed Forces, which is being realized through joint military exercises, support in capacity development, and especially in the area of professional development of Army personnel at military academies in the United Kingdom.
At today’s meeting, General Gjurchinovski congratulated Lieutenant Colonel Edward John Green, and wished him success in performing the duty of UK Defence Attaché and continuing the cooperation between the two Armies in different joint activities.
