The Army Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski had a meeting today with the newly appointed USA Defense Attaché to the Republic of North Macedonia, Colonel Daniel Squires.
At the meeting, General Gjurchinovski congratulated Colonel Daniel Squires and wished him success in this duty during his work engagement. He also expressed his assurance in resuming the continuous inter-army cooperation between the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia and the US Armed Forces, our strategic partners and allies. The inter-army cooperation is evident through joint military exercises, in education where Army members attend US military schools, as well as in the support of capacity development.
Later today, the Chief of General Staff also had a meeting with the UK Defense Attaché, Colonel John Edward Green, where joint activities in the domain of training and military exercise were discussed, and also the prospect of intensifying further bilateral cooperation.
