In the period from 11th to 19th September 2019 a bilateral cooperation was carried out with the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia. The bilateral cooperation was in the format of joint training of the Army Honor Guard Battalion with the Honor Guard Battalion of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia.
The training was conducted on the topic: “Egzercir Joint Training and Performance”, which demonstrated and practiced on-the-job weapons and procedures in place and in motion, united in a single Egzercir performance sequence. Members of the Croatian Honor Guard Battalion displayed marching and weapons handling skills while performing military-acrobatic exercises.
The exchange of experience during the joint training is an exceptional benefit for the members of both units, and the acquired knowledge and skills are applicable to all segments of the training and the daily work of the Honor Guard Battalion. During the activities there was an excellent working atmosphere, mutual trust and commitment to the tasks was built which is an introduction to future deepened cooperation.
The joint training concluded with a presentation of Egzercir and an open-air military-acrobatic exercise in front of the Biser Shopping Center in Skopje. The citizens were able to watch the performances of National Guard Battalions of both countries and the Military orchestra.
