Today, 15.09.2015 in the barracks “Ilinden” ceremony was held on the occasion of handing over of duty Special Forces battalion commander.
The ceremony was attended by Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Metodija Velickovski, Commander of Joint Operations Command Brigadier Vasko Gjurcinovski and commanders of the units located in the barracks “Ilinden”.
The ceremony Deputy Commander of the Special Operations Regiment Colonel Orce Jordev address to the present units, who stressed the importance of the Special Forces Battalion, and also thanked the outgoing commander of the battalion Lieutenant Colonel Goran Ilioski, for his effort, commitment and dedication.
Colonel Jordev expressed confidence that the newly appointed commander of the Special Forces Battalion Lt. Dimce Velkov with his experience and quality staff that the unit has successfully respond to all challenges.
