The beginning of the “Leadership Course for Team and Section Leaders’, organized by the Training and Doctrine Command, at the ATA Krivolak, was marked in presence of the TDC Commander Metodi Hadzi Janev and Brigadier General John Bauron. It will be run by a mobile training team from the UK Armed Forces and instructors from the Centre for Individual Training.
Addressing the lined up men, Brigadier General Metodi Hadzi Janev wished the course attendees success in their work during the course, as well stressing they should fully and thoroughly engage themselves in the training process.
The aim of this activity is to train the members of the light infantry battalion group (LIBG) and other Army units to lead tactical units on team and section level, as well as to acquire the techniques, tactics and procedures for leading light infantry operations, making them compatible with NATO standards for carrying out this type of tasks. They would apply the lessons learned later, while training the LIBG personnel and army units, through fulfilling received NATO goals and capabilities.
