Today, the 21st of July, the peacekeepers of ARM who were deployed to ISAF mission in Afghanistan, arrived at the airport “Alexander the Great” in Petrovec.
The peacekeepers of the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade (1IMBde) were met at the airport by the Minister of Defense, PhD Zoran Jolevski, Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Gorancho Koteski, Second in Command of Joint Operations Command, Brigadier General Muhamed Racaj and 1MIBde Commander, Brigadier General Pavle Arsoski.
There were 150 military personnel of the Mechanized Infantry Company in the 16th rotation of the ISAF peacekeeping mission who were deployed together with the Senior National representative at the ISAF Head Quarters in Kabul.
ARM personnel of this contingent of the ISAF mission conducted their assignments for the past six months within the United Kingdom contingent securing the Head Quarters of the forces of ISAF in Kabul.
ARM personnel have again demonstrated impeccable professionalism in conducting their assignments confirming the compatibility and interoperability with the Allies forces in the ISAF mission. They have continually received the highest commendation by the Commands of the Allies and they are highly appreciated.
