During this day, August 7, 2013, as a part of the program for the celebration of the ARM day, “August 18”, the Military Stadium hosted the final competitions in football, basketball, volleyball, ping-pong, chess and cross-country.
“Let the sport bond you closer, and let the best win in the competition” – was the main message from the Chief of the General staff of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia, major-general Gorancho Koteski, during his address that took place shortly prior the beginning of the final competitions.
The results of the competition will be published by the end of this day, when the rich sports program is about to be completed and we will get the best in their disciplines.
The Army of the Republic of Macedonia is a member of the Council of the military sports since 2005. In our team we have state representatives in wrestling, boxing, biathlon, sharp shooting and athletics.
The activities from the program of the celebration of the ARM day – “August 18”, will continue in the days to come. A friendly football match between the Football Federation of Macedonia and the ARM Football Team is scheduled for August 15, 2013.
