Today the 19th of December, Logistics Support Brigade (LSBde) celebrated the Day of the Military Medical Center (MMC), the 21st of December.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the General Staff of the Army of Republic of Macedonia (GS of ARM), Joint Operations Command (JOC), Training Command and Doctrine (TRADOC) Commander, ARM brigades and battalion commanders and other guests.
LSBde Commander Colonel Vladimir Stojanovski greeted the guests and said that in order to be a part of the military health care it is necessary to be professional, devoted and dedicated. The ARM personnel are recognized by afore mentioned characteristics in international exercises, peacekeeping missions ALTEA and ISAF, which makes LSBde personnel especially proud.
Three years after promoting the largest medical unit in the Army of Republic of Macedonia, the MMC Commander Colonel Dr. Dushan Stojanovic emphasized the readiness of this unit to face the challenges of the modern time and the modern concept of medical service.
Greetings from the Chief of GS of ARM and JOC Commander were read at the ceremony. There were also stimulative awards given to MMC personnel for their achievements at work.
The President of Republic of Macedonia and the Commander-in-chief of Macedonian armed forces issued a decree to pronounce the 21st of December the Day of MMC and on that day MMC was officially opened and promoted as the largest medical unit in ARM.
