Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski, who is on a two-day official visit to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Poland, today met with his host, Lieutenant General Rajmund Andrzejczak.
At the meeting between the Chiefs of Staff, there was a discussion on the military cooperation that so far consisted mainly of participation in joint training activities in the organization of NATO, the Polish experiences from the integration processes, and the possibilities for enhancing military cooperation.
General Gjurchinovski expressed gratitude for the continued support in the current integration process for our membership in the Alliance, hoping that it will continue as partners and allies with the possibility of intensifying cooperation and assistance in the processes of integration and improvement of the achieved NATO standards, in particular in the field of special operations.
General Andrzejczak introduced the delegation with the organizational structure and tasks of the Polish army as well as the processes of transformation of the Polish Armed Forces.
The generals Gjurchinovski and Andrzejchak, as possible areas for further cooperation, pointed out joint activities and training with the Polish Special Forces, training in military educational institutions, continuation of cooperation within the EUBG, cooperation of the Military Academies and the possibility of training members of the Polish Armed Forces at the Army Training Area Krivolak.
During his stay in Warsaw, General Gjurchinovski will also meet with the State Secretary in the Ministry of Defense during the day, and the Macedonian military delegation will visit the command of the Polish Special Forces in Gliwice tomorrow.
