According to the activities of the official visit program, the Norwegian Armed Forces Chief of Staff, Admiral Haakon Bruun-Hanssen, accompanied by JOC Commander, Major General Pavle Arsoski and representatives of the General Staff visited the Military Police Battalion in the barracks “Ilinden”- Skopje.
At the very beginning, the Chief of the Norwegian Armed Forces, through an information briefing, had the opportunity to learn about the structure, responsibilities and basic function of the Military Police Battalion.
During the visit there was a demonstration exercise “Preventing riots and demonstrations and restoring public order” and a tactical-technical exhibition of the equipment and motor vehicles used by the Military Police Battalion when conducting daily assignments and activities.
This visit was an excellent opportunity to promote the unit which is with a high level of professionalism and training.
