Delegation from the Operations Command (OC), led by the Commander, Brigadier General Besnik Emini, visited the Norwegian Joint Headquarters in the period from 22nd to 25th November 2021, in order to get familiarized with the work and organization of the Norwegian Joint Headquarters in the Kingdom of Norway.
During the visit, the Commander of the OC was familiarized with the organization and work of the Norwegian Joint Headquarters, serving as an operational center for monitoring all naval, land and air activities of the Army of the Kingdom of Norway in the country and abroad, in coordination with state and civilian institutions, when dealing with all kinds of crises. They also monitor the current situation, plan and conduct military exercises, control and support peacekeeping operations abroad, emphasizing interoperability with other NATO members.
Earlier in the period from 15th to 17th November 2021, a delegation from the OC, led by the Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade, Colonel Sashko Lafchiski participated in the activity “On job training” of the North Brigade in Bardufoss in the Kingdom of Norway. Within the activity, visits were made to the training grounds, a visit to the engineering battalion, as well as the ways of using the engineering facilities.
