At the military barracks ‘Chede Filiposki – Dame’ in Kichevo a ceremony on the occasion of successful completion of the second mentoring rotation of the 4th Security Forces Assistant Brigade (4.SFAB) was held.
The Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1stIBde), General Sashko Lafchiski gave a speech at the ceremony and handed all members of the 4thSFAB certificates of commendation and plaques.
From April to September 2022 a 4thSFAB team was in the Republic of North Macedonia providing mentoring and support to the units of the 1stIBde and other Army units in order to reach the highest NATO standards.
Members of the 4th SFAB, Captain Peter Habsburg-Fortier and Sgt. 1st Class Jonathan Martinez, engaged in Albania, also attended the activity. They briefed other attendees on their experience from preparing the Albanian Armed forces for their combat readiness assessment.
