Teams from the Army commands and units, invited by the Macedonian Sports Shooting Federation and in line with the tradition, participated in the 17th International Open Shooting Tournament “Grand Prix Skopje 2023”, held at the sport shooting range “Kamnik”.
At the opening of the 17th “Grand Prix Skopje 2023”, the Chief of Staff of the Operations Command, Brigadier General Mirche Gjorgoski, addressed the participants and wished them success and achieving great results during the tournament.
The members of the Army, demonstrating their readiness in handling their weapons, achieved remarkable results in the disciplines: shooting with a pistol at 25 meters, shooting with an automatic rifle at 100 meters and with a semi-automatic sniper rifle at 100 meters.
First place in 100m rifle shooting discipline was won by the team from the Cadet Training Centre, within the Training and Doctrine Command, consisting of: Martina Stamenova, Milica Perishikj and Adelaida Beganovikj. The General Staff team won the third place.
The organizer of the 17th International Open Shooting Tournament, the Macedonian Sports Shooting Federation, awarded the best teams and individuals a trophy and medals after the competition.
