A formal closing ceremony of the national exercise “Flash 26” was held on 27 April 2026, at the Training Camp “Pepelishte”. The event featured a ceremonial lineup of participants, marking the completion of a cycle of activities focused on evaluating and confirming the combat readiness of the Light Infantry Battalion Group (LIBG) as a NATO Capability Target.
Addressing those present, the Exercise Director, Colonel Igor Arsovski, expressed his gratitude to all participants for their professionalism, dedication, and contribution to the successful execution of all activities, which enabled the Light Infantry Battalion Group (LIBG) to be assessed as combat-ready for carrying out its mission in accordance with the evaluation standards for land commands and units of NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command Operations. At the end, he officially declared the exercise closed.
