On 17 June 2026, as part of its Civil-Military Cooperation activities, the Air Force WING organized an educational visit for children from the kindergarten “Angel Shajche” in Kumanovo, accompanied by their teachers.
During the visit, the children were introduced to some of the capacities and activities of the unit and, in an engaging and age-appropriate manner, they learned about the basic tasks of the military aviation. The members of the Training Flight Squadron and the Helicopter Squadron described to the children the work of the aviation personnel and the role of the aviation equipment in carrying out the missions of the Army.
A special part of the visit was a tour of the aircrafts and the supporting equipment, giving the children an opportunity to become directly acquainted with their main characteristics and purposes. The visit took place in a positive and interactive atmosphere, with active participation and great interest shown by the youngest visitors.
The implementation of activities of this kind represents a significant contribution to strengthening the cooperation between the Army and educational institutions, as well as bringing aviation and technical professions closer to younger generations.
