At the invitation of the Macedonian Sport Shooting Federation, teams of the Army participated in the 14th International Open Shooting Tournament “Grand Prix Skopje 2020” at the shooting range “Kamnik”. They took part in several disciplines, such as 25m pistol shooting, 100m 7,62mm assault rifle and 100m semiautomatic sniper rifle.
Once again, the members of the Army showed their professionalism in shotting and achieved exceptional results.
The team of the Special Forces won the first place in the discipline 100m assault rifle and Sergeant Major Tomislav Gonchev of this unit won the first place, as well.
The women team of the Ranger Battalion won the first place in the discipline 25mm and individually, Staff Sergeant 1st Class Irena Lekovska of this unit won the first place, as well.
The organizer of the 14th International Open Shooting Tournament, the Macedonian Sport Shooting Federation gave certificates of appreciation to all teams of the Army for participation and promotion of shooting as an Olympic discipline.
