On the occasion of the commemoration of 9 May – Victory over Fascism Day, the Association of Veterans of the city of Skopje presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the Honor Guard Battalion on behalf of the President of the Association of Veterans of the NLW and the PDM.
As part of the long-standing cooperation between the Macedonian Guard and the Veterans’ Association, on 28 May 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., a presentation on the mission and tasks of the Honor Guard Battalion was held at the premises of Military Post 3562. Following the presentation, the President of the Veteran’s Association of Skopje addressed the members of the Honor Guard, emphasizing the importance and the role of the Macedonian Guardsmen.
At the end of the event, during a brief ceremony, the Certificate of Appreciation was formally presented to the Honor Guard Battalion.
