The Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski, today, met with the NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy, Baiba Braže, who will participate in the NATO Communicators Conference, held in the Republic of North Macedonia.
During the meeting the activities in the area of NATO strategic communications were discussed, as well as the functional areas of StratCom, which are defined and developed within the framework of the responsibilities of the Army.
Opinions and experiences were exchanged about the communications activities and plans of the Alliance, and activities and cooperation with the partners in this area.
The Army of the Republic of North Macedonia with the ongoing structural transformation is committed to develop and improve its strategic communications capabilities so as to meet the demands of NATO standards.
This conference is the largest annual NATO Communicators Conference, and this year’s 300 participants will be welcomed by its host, the Republic of North Macedonia.
The Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski will give a short speech at the closing ceremony.
