The Chief of the General Staff of ARM Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski met with Lieutenant Colonel Burhan Urek, the newly appointed resident defense attaché (DA) of the Republic of Turkey in the Republic of Macedonia
General Velichkovski wished successful work to Lieutenant Colonel Burhan Urek, the newly appointed resident defense attaché of the Republic of Turkey in the Republic of Macedonia, who will carry out this duty in the future. The General emphasized the continual support given by the Republic of Turkey through training in military schools in the Republic of Turkey, previous donations, as well as the support given to the ARM members participating in the mission “Resolute Support” in Afghanistan, within the Turkish contingent.
At the meeting, General Velichkovski paid tribute to the current non-resident DA Lieutenant Colonel Rushen Abedinoglu for his contribution to the continuation of bilateral cooperation between ARM and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey.
