Mission and Tasks

Mission:

Admission, accommodation, storage, maintenance and distribution of materials of all classes of supply and execution of transportation support on level 3 Logistic Support for all commands and units of the Army.

Tasks:

Admission, accommodation, storage, maintenance and distribution of materials of all classes of supply for the needs of the commands and units of the Army;
Storage and maintenance of military supplies material for the Army according to defined criteria;
Execution of transport support level III support for all commands and units of the Army;
Preparing materials for transport outside the Republic, for units that are deployed in mission.

Commander

Lieutenant Colonel Zvonko Sasanski

Lieutenant Colonel Zvonko Sasanski was born on the December 3, 1973 in Pehchevo. After graduating elementary school, he continued his high school education at the Military High School “Bratsvo i Jedinstvo” in Belgrade. He continued his education at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Skopje. After graduation and conscription, he attended the course for military service officers at the Military Academy “Mihailo Apostolski” in Skopje. On August 1, 2001 he was promoted to Lieutenant in the Technical Service in the Army of the Republic of Macedonia.

He started his military career at the Technical Repair Center as a Platoon Commander for Motor Vehicles Maintenance. He has served in many work posts in a battalion, brigade, commands and staffs. In February 2025 he was appointed as Commander of the Center for Supply and Transport within the Logistics Base.

He has attended numerous courses in the area of operational logistics planning in-country and abroad, including:

Operational Logistics Planning in NATO School in Oberammergau in Germany;
Joint Logistics Planning in the Logistics School in Bundeswehr in Osterholz in Germany.
Logistics and Finances in FMC in the USA; and etc.

He is currently studying postgraduate studies in Security and Defense at the Military Academy “General Mihailo Apostolski” in Skopje.

He has received many awards in his career, including:

Middle Plaque of the Army by the CHOD of the Army;
Award leave by the CHOD of the Army;
Non-Article 5 NATO Medal by the NATO Secretary General for participating in the peacekeeping mission Resolute Support in Afghanistan, and etc.

He is proficient in English language.

He is married to Mirjana, and has two sons, Darko and Aleksandar.
