On 8th and 9th April 2014 the Joint Operational Command (JOC) and the commands of the brigades in the composition of the JOC were visited by an inspection team of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with the aim of understanding the situation on the issues of the specified area pursuant to the provisions of “Vienna document 2011”.
During the tour of the JOC and the commands of the 1.Mechanized Infantry Brigade, Air Brigade, the Logistics Support Brigade and the Reserve Forces, the inspection team was familiarized with all the activities and conditions relating to the provisions of the “Vienna Document 2011” as well as history, mission, organizational and formational structure, fill for personnel and the equipment of the units.
Inspection visits in accordance with the “Vienna Document 2011” are regular annual activities which are conducted in order to exchange information of a military nature. During this visits the inspection teams are completely and transparently familiarized with the current state of arms, equipment and training of the visited units.
