Today, at military barracks ‘Strasho Pindzur’ – in Petrovec, from 09 a.m. to 01p.m., a blood donation action was carried out as part of the celebration, marking the 2nd April – Day of the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade (1st MIBde).
The action was organized by the Institute for Transfusion Medicine – Skopje, in cooperation with the Red Cross. 67 members of the Army from units located in the military barracks in Petrovec took part in this action.
The six-member team from the Institute for Transfusion Medicine from Skopje expressed their gratitude to the personnel of the 1st Mechanized Infantry and they couldn’t hide their satisfaction with the collected 67 blood units.
Such blood-donating actions are carried out several times a year at the military barracks in Petrovec, as part of marking the days of the units located in the barracks.
