During the second half of January and the first half of February, in accordance with the annual training plans, the subordinate units of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1st IBde), the Reconnaissance Platoon members of the 1st Infantry Brigade subordinate units, conducted training in winter conditions, on terrains in the mountains in the eastern and western part of the country.
In the one-week training, the personnel practically demonstrated their acquired skills for handling and executing tasks in winter conditions, such as: moving in deep snow, overcoming snow obstacles with formative and utility assets, made by the personnel on the spot, building and staying in the facilities made by and in snow, firing positions on the snow with personal weapons and riding a snowmobile.
During the training, the units were visited by their training officers from the superior command and the 1st IBde HQ who acknowledged their training and psycho-physical readiness while observing their execution of task in winter and mountain conditions.
