The members of the Brigade for Logistic Support (BdeLogSup) marked the Day of the Unit for the seventh time, since the transformation in accordance with the existing formation, with a military ceremony.
The Deputy Commander of the Joint Operations Command (JOC), Brigadier General Orce Jordev, congratulated the day of the unit to the members of the BdeLogSup and emphasized that quality and timely logistic support significantly affects the completion of the Army tasks, especially in the last period with the support given to the Ministry of Interior on the southern and northern border of our country.
The Commander of the BdeLogSup, Colonel Muharem Muharemi, after the historical review in memory of 1876, the day when the Razlog Uprising began, in his address, said that in the current engagement they showed that the logistic support responds successfully to the challenges arising from the terrain, even with limited resources.
At the ceremony, incentives were given to some members of the units for the achieved results, also the best cook, mechanic and driver, who competed in the period before, were announced.
Today’s ceremony was attended by the Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski, Deputy Defense Minister Bekim Maksuti, the Deputy Chief of Staff, Major General Azim Nuredin, Deputy Commander of the JOC, Brigadier General Orce Jordev, the commander of the SOR, Brigadier General Metodija Hadji-Janev, commanders of ARM units, former commanders of the unit and other guests.
