Today, the 28th of March, the 18 year Memorial of the tragic death of Captain 1st Class Ljupcho Mirchovski (Military Police Battalion Commander at that time) was held at the barracks “Ilinden”. Wreaths of fresh flowers were laid at the monument in front of the command building of the Military Police Battalion and condolences to his family were expressed.
Wreaths of fresh flowers were laid by delegations of the Joint Operations Command, Defence Intelligence and Security Department, Special Operations Regiment, representatives of the units at the barracks “Ilinden”, representatives of the units in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, family members, members of the reserve service of the Military Police Battalion, relatives, friends and others.
The Commander of the unit, Lieutenant Colonel Kire Nikolovski talked about the life and career of Captain 1st Class Ljupcho Mirchovski, about his virtues and dedication to his job, as well as about his successful execution of the given tasks and his contribution in creating and maintaining the image of the unit.
