Today, at the “Chojlija” barracks in the Petrovec garrison, members of the Tank Battalion (tbn) marked the 18th anniversary from the deaths of its members in 2001.
The death of captain Sinisa Stoilov and soldier Fejzo Djeljadinovski was marked by laying fresh flowers in front of the memorial plaque in the Chojlija Barracks by a delegation of the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade, a delegation from the Brigade for Logistic Support, retired members of the tank battalion, war veterans, families of the killed, as well as a delegation from the primary school “Sinisa Stoilov” from village Zrnovci – Kocani, named in honour of the captain.
The commander of the Tank Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Zoran Stojanovski, among other things stressed that marking this day is an obligation of the tank battalion and the Army in order to honour those who gave their lives for the defense of the country, the defense of sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Army is proud to have so courageous, dedicated and reliable colleagues and comrades whom they will always remember.
