Representatives of the 4th Security Force Assistance Brigade (4thSFAB) of the US Armed Forces (AF), led by their Commander, Colonel James Dooghan, from 05th to 06th April 2021, paid a visit to the Operations Command and the 2nd Infantry Battalion, from the 1st Infantry Brigade.
The Commander of the Operations Command (OC), Major General Pavle Arsoski at the meeting with Colonel Dooghan emphasized the high level of inter-army cooperation between our army and the army of the USA as well as the importance of continuing this cooperation in the future. The representatives of the 4thSFAB were briefed about the Operations Command and the upcoming exercise “Decisive Strike-21”.
During their visit of the 2nd Infantry Battalion (Light Infantry Battalion) in Shtip, the representatives of the 4th Security Force Assistance Brigade met with the Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Besnik Emini. The guests from the US AF were briefed about the unit and there was also a demonstration exercise “Military operations in urban environment and steps for clearing a building”.
The declared unit has begun with the preparations for its participation in one of the biggest multinational exercises organized by our country, the exercise “Decisive Strike-21” as well as for the NATO evaluation of the unit, i.e. the Combat Readiness Evalution (CREVEL) that will take place in April 2022.
