On the occasion of the 154th anniversary of the birth of the Macedonian revolutionary Goce Delchev, an Army delegation led by the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Sashko Lafchiski, paid tribute to his historic and immortal legacy today.
As part of the commemoration, the delegation laid fresh flowers at the grave of Goce Delchev in the Church of “St. Spas” in Skopje, thereby expressing deep respect for one of the most significant fighters for the freedom and independence of the Macedonian people.
The ideals of freedom, justice, and self-sacrifice embodied in the life and work of Goce Delchev continue to represent a lasting inspiration and moral guide for members of the Army today.
