The Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Sashko Lafchiski, met today with a delegation from the Armed Forces of the Republic of Türkiye, led by Brigadier General Ramazan Toper. The meeting was part of the Turkish Armed Forces delegation’s program of activities related to the traditional commemoration of the anniversary of Mustafa Kemal Atatürks’ graduation.
During the meeting, the importance of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who graduated from the Military High School in Bitola, was emphasized as a significant historic link between both countries. Atatürk, as a reformer and the founder of modern Türkiye, left a profound historical legacy, and his time spent in our country represents a shared cultural and historical heritage between the two friendly nations.
The excellent cooperation between the two countries was highlighted as well as the continued support provided by friendly Türkiye as our strategic partner.
