Last night, the 21st May 2014, the Military orchestra of the ARM, for the first time presented itself with a performance to the citizens of Makedonski Brod. The concert, which was held at the ‘St Kliment Ohridski’ primary school’s gym in Makedonski Brod , was attended by over 300 people from Makedonski Brod who enjoyed the weapon skills of the Ceremonial Guard Battalion memebers who preceded the Miltary orchestra’s concert, performing the ‘Egzircir’(military tattoo).
Together with the citizens of Makedonski brod, 40 honorary guests from the city of Halinov, Poland , which is Makedonski Brod’s sister city, had the opportunity to enjoy the one-hour performance by the Military orchestra.
The audience was thrilled by the excelent performance of the Military orchestra, as well as the performance of the Ceremonial Guard Battalion members , and rewarded them with applause.
The concert of the Military orchestra in Makedonski Brod was also attended by the key personnel from the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade and the military barracks in Kichevo.
Last night’s promotional concert of the Military orchestra in Makedonski Brod, is first of the many planned concerts for 2014, which are to be realized in different cities in Republic of Macedonia, as a continuation of the project for cooperation with the local governments in the country, whose main aim is through these social events to familiarize the public with the ARM even in those cities where there are no military barracks.
