The servicemen of The Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) marked 18th August – the Day of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia at the barracks “Alekso Damnievski-Bauman” in Veles with a ceremonial line, taking all the necessary measures for protection and dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the beginning of the activity, a congratulating letter, on the occasion of the holiday, by the Chief of General Staff of the Army Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski was read in front of the lined-up servicemen of the Training and Doctrine Command.
During the ceremonial line up TRADOC Commander Brigadier General Metodi Hadji Janev congratulated the Day of the Army in his speech and referred to the challenges and tasks that will follow in the upcoming period. The Commander emphasized the role of TRADOC in building the capacities of the Army as one of the priorities in the period after becoming a NATO member.
At the end of the ceremonial line up orders for promotions and incentives for the servicemen at the garrison in Veles were read.
