The final group of newly admitted professional soldiers for service in the Army took a solemn oath at a military ceremony held in the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), at the military barracks “Alekso Demnievski-Bauman” in Veles,
In his speech, the Deputy Minister of Defence, Bashkim Hasani congratulated the soldiers, in his name and on the behalf of the Minister of Defence. He stated that with their service in the Army they will serve our country, our citizens, and should justify the trust the Army enjoys among our citizens.
Commander of the ITC, Major Sadat Fera also addressed the professional soldiers. He pointed out that with this solemn act they swore to perform tasks and duties to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of their country, and also wished them good health and successful completion of the envisaged training.
Today’s oath taking ceremony of the professional soldiers was attended by the Operations Command Commander, Brigadier General Besnik Emini, TRADOC Commander Colonel Vasko Kokolanski, representatives from the cabinet of the President and Commander in Chief of the Army , the Ministry of Defence and the Army.
The newly admitted professional soldiers will undergo basic and professional training, facing some of the challenges which are part of a military career.
