Mission:
It organizes, prepares and realizes cadets’ training in the Army.
Tasks:
- Develops plans and programs for organizing and conducting of training, cadets’ training in the services of the Army.
- Organizes and conducts individual and general military training up to platoon level of cadets in the services of the Army.
- Organizes and conducts cadets’ training in winter conditions and skiing.
- Organizes and conducts cadets’ training in water and swimming.
- Organizes training in driving vehicles and taking driving tests of the cadets.
- Organizes internships for cadets in the services of the Army.
- Organizes Professional specialized courses in branches (Platoon commander course).
- Organizes and conducts extra-curricular educational activities of cadets in the services of the Army.
Lieutenant Colonel Goran Shutevski
Lieutenant Colonel Goran Shutevski was born in 1979 in Shtip. He completed primary education in the village of Rusinovo, and secondary education in Berovo. He continued with military education at the “General Mihailo Apostolski” Military Academy in Skopje and graduated from the Military Academy in 2003.
He started his military career as the deputy commander of the watchtower in Novo Selo, 3rd Border Battalion. During his military career, he had command and staff duties: Commander of the “Tri Shilci” watchtower, Commander of Platoon MB 120 mm, Commander of the 1st Mechanized Infantry Platoon, Commander of the 2nd Mechanized Infantry Company, Commander of the 1st Mechanized Infantry Company, Chief of S-3/5/7 in 2nd MIBn, Deputy Commander of 2nd Infantry Battalion, Chief of Operations and Planning section at the Simulation Center, within the Training and Doctrine Command.
He continued his professional development and training by completing several courses in the country and abroad, including a course for Company Commanders and Battalion Staff Officers at Fort Benning, USA. Furthermore, he graduated from the Command Staff Academy at the Fort Leavenworth Military College in the United States in 2021, dispersed studies in the Republic of Germany. He participated in the ISAF peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan in 2009 and 2012, attended many conferences and seminars, as well as several military exercises.
During his career, he has been awarded several times, including a bronze badge of the Army. He is proficient in English. He is married and a father of one child.
Cadets Training Center (CTC) was established on 10th February, 2010 as an integral part of the Training Command and it started work at the premises of the Military Academy “General Mihajlo Apostolski”, at “Goce Delchev” barracks – Skopje.
It started working with the first generation of cadets in 2010. In 2010 an Officers Course was realized at the Centre for Cadets Training, for the needs of the services of ARM.
In the beginning, among the accepted cadets there were cadets from Monte Negro and in 2012 cadets from Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as, from Kosovo.
Since 2012, Pilots Academy is an integrated part of the CTC, where training for professional development of candidates for aviation officers is realized.
