
Mission:
It organizes, prepares and realizes cadets’ training in the Army.
Tasks:
- Develops plans and programs for organizing and conducting of training, cadets’ training in the services of the Army.
- Organizes and conducts individual and general military training up to platoon level of cadets in the services of the Army.
- Organizes and conducts cadets’ training in winter conditions and skiing.
- Organizes and conducts cadets’ training in water and swimming.
- Organizes training in driving vehicles and taking driving tests of the cadets.
- Organizes internships for cadets in the services of the Army.
- Organizes Professional specialized courses in branches (Platoon commander course).
- Organizes and conducts extra-curricular educational activities of cadets in the services of the Army.
Lieutenant Colonel Ivan Sarafimov
Lieutenant Colonel Ivan Sarafimov was born in 1981 in Shtip. He finished primary and secondary school in Shtip and continued his studies at the Military Academy “General Mihailo Apostolski” in Skopje, where he graduated in 2003.
He began his military career as a student pilot in the Training Squadron of the Air Force Brigade. Throughout his military career, he has held several command and staff positions: platoon commander, team commander in the Special Forces Battalion, operations officer in the Special Forces Battalion, training officer, and exercise officer in the J-7/General Staff of the Army.
He continued his professional development and education at the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, USA, as well as through several courses both in country and abroad, including the Staff Officers Course at the Special Forces Component Command in Nea Peramos, the Hellenic Republic.
During his career, he has been awarded several times, including receiving the Army’s Silver Badge. He speaks English. He is married and father of two children.
Cadets Training Center (CTC) was established on 10th February, 2010 as an integral part of the Training Command and it started work at the premises of the Military Academy “General Mihajlo Apostolski”, at “Goce Delchev” barracks – Skopje.
It started working with the first generation of cadets in 2010. In 2010 an Officers Course was realized at the Centre for Cadets Training, for the needs of the services of ARM.
In the beginning, among the accepted cadets there were cadets from Monte Negro and in 2012 cadets from Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as, from Kosovo.
Since 2012, Pilots Academy is an integrated part of the CTC, where training for professional development of candidates for aviation officers is realized.
