Today, the 8th of October (Tuesday), the Chief of General Stuff of ARM Lieutenant General Gorancho Koteski visited the units in the military barracks in Shtip. The visit of Chief of GS of ARM to military barracks “Jane Sandanski” in Shtip, is a part of the plan to visit all garrisons within ARM by the end of November, which started last week, when he visited Joint Operational Command (JOC) in Kumanovo.
During his visit, the CGS of ARM informed all servicemen of ARM who work in the garrison in Shtip about the current situation and future plans and assignments. General Koteski inspected all facilities, the living and working conditions and their functional use for the ARM servicemen who work in military barracks “Jane Sandanski.
CGS of ARM visited the garrison in Shtip together with JOC Commander, Major General Metodija Velichkovski, 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Pavle Arsoski, some of the chiefs of sections of GS of ARM and the Commander of the garrison in Shtip.
CGS of ARM stated that military barracks “Jane Sandanski” is functional and kept up at the appropriate level, which gives the servicemen of ARM regular living conditions and normal conditions to perform their work duties. While visiting the garrison in Shtip, CGS of ARM also met the garrison’s key personnel who had an opportunity to ask questions about functioning of services and its legislative correlation, as well as other questions which the servicemen in the garrison in Shtip were interested in.
During his visit of military barracks “Jane Sandanski”, General Koteski met the mayor of the city of Shtip, Mr. Ilcho Zahariev, and discussed the cooperation between the local community and ARM which has been improving. Mr. Zahariev said that the city was ready to continue the cooperation with ARM by including the city of Shtip in projects for improving the living and working conditions in garrison in Shtip.
