Today, an Army delegation, led by the Chief of the Army General Staff, Major General Sashko Lafchiski, participated in the commemoration marking the holiday of the Equal-to-the-Apostles Saints Cyril and Methodius, upon the invitation of the Prime Minister.
By laying a wreath of fresh flowers at the monument of “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” on the quay in Ohrid, the Army delegation paid tribute and expressed recognition for the work of Saints Cyril and Methodius, who are regarded as the creators of literacy and culture. Their legacy continues to symbolize knowledge, cultural progress, and spiritual wealth.
As part of the holiday commemoration, the Army delegation also attended the ceremonial event “From Word to Eternity”, held at the Church of St. Sophia in Ohrid.
