Today, a military ceremony was held to mark the Change of Command at the Military Medical Centre. Lieutenant Colonel Zoran Chanakovski assumed the appointment Commander of the Military Medical Centre from the outgoing Commander, Colonel Elizabeta Naumovska Petreski.
The ceremony was attended by the Commander of the Logistic Base, Colonel Muharem Muharemi, as well as representatives of the General Staff and other commands and units of the Army.
In his address, the Commander of the Logistic Base, Colonel Muharem Muharemi, emphasised the importance of the Military Medical Centre and commended the personnel for their significant contribution to the unit’s professional development.
He also expressed his appreciation to the outgoing Commander of the Military Medical Centre for her personal commitment and the results achieved during her tenure. At the same time, he congratulated Lieutenant Colonel Zoran Chanakovski on his appointment, wishing him every success in leading and commanding the unit.
In her farewell address, the outgoing Commander of the Military Medical Centre, Colonel Elizabeta Naumovska Petreski, stated that the Centre, as the Army’s largest military medical unit, is synonymous with humanity, dedication and the highest standards of professionalism. She congratulated Lieutenant Colonel Zoran Chanakovski on his new appointment and wished him success, expressing her confidence that he would lead the unit with wisdom and responsibility, make sound and well-considered decisions, and surpass the achievements of all his predecessors.
In his remarks, the incoming Commander of the Military Medical Centre, Lieutenant Colonel Zoran Chanakovski, emphasised that the unit would continue to strengthen the military medical service through professionalism, responsibility and teamwork, ensuring its continued ability to respond effectively to all future tasks and challenges. He added that his priorities would be the welfare of personnel, fostering positive interpersonal relations, and creating the conditions necessary for the continued professional development of all members of the Military Medical Centre.
