The Chief of the Army General Staff, Major General Sashko Lafchiski held a farewell meeting with the outgoing resident Defense Attaché of the Hellenic Republic in our country, Brigadier General Konstantinos Samaras today.
During the meeting, gratitude was expressed for the successful cooperation and for General Samaras’s contribution to advancing the bilateral relations between the armies of the two countries. A special emphasis was placed on joint activities in the areas of exchange of experience, medical and parachute training, SAR operations, military police training, special forces, and intelligence, as well as joint exercises.
As part of the meeting, General Lafchiski also met with the newly appointed Defense Attaché of the Hellenic Republic in our country, Colonel Stavros Manolis, and both sides confirmed their readiness to further advance cooperation and deepen the partnership in the spirit of allied commitments and regional stability.
