The Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Sashko Lafchiski, held a meeting today with the newly appointed Defense Attache of the Republic of Croatia to the Republic of North Macedonia, Colonel Rajko Peric.
During the meeting, the officials welcomed the existing bilateral cooperation, which includes activities in the fields of training and courses; education at higher military schools; as well as opportunities for cooperation in the domain of military industry. Furthermore, discussions were held regarding cooperation within the framework of membership in joint regional initiatives. It was emphasized that this kind of cooperation contributes to increased interoperability, the exchange of experience and expertise, and also the further strengthening of regional stability and collective security.
At the meeting, the interlocutors highlighted that bilateral cooperation has reached a very high level in recent years and expressed readiness to further deepen and enhance collaboration in areas of mutual interest, with the aim of strengthening the partnership between the two friendly countries.
