Traditionally, the members of the Army’s commands and units, were invited by the Macedonian Shooting Sport Federation, and took part in the fourth Open Day Shooting Sport of “Kahles Strelec Cup 2023”, organized by the shooting club “Strelec”, at the shooting range Kamnik.
The members of the Army demonstrated their shooting abilities and achieved impressive results in the following disciplines: 100 meters rifle shooting, 200 meters semi-automatic tactical sniper rifle and the 25 metres pistol.
The team comprised of Sergeant Dragoslav Kudranovikj, Sergeant Goran Spiroski and Master Sergeant Dimitar Stojanovski won the third place in the 100 meters rifle discipline for teams.
In the 200 meters semi-automatic tactical sniper rifle discipline the Army team members Master Sergeant Kire Janev, Sergeant Borche Stojkovski, and Corporal Dimitar Apostolovski also won the third place. The most impressive result was achieved by Staff Sergeant 1 class Irena Lekoska, who won the second place in the 25 metres pistol individual. In the same discipline for teams, she won another second place, together with her team members, Staff Sergeant Zhaneta Mickovska and Corporal Elizabeta Kotevska.
At the end of the competitions, the organiser of the shooting sport competition “Kahles Strelec Cup 2023”, awarded trophies and medals to the best teams and individuals.
