The military exercise “Joint Resistance 13” is a field exercise which is going to be executed in the period from 27th May to 7th June 2013, at the Training Centre ‘Pepelishte’, ATA ‘Krivolak’ and the village of Mushanci.
The military exercise “Joint Resistance 13” is a field exercise with units on terrain, based on an operation scenario for dealing with natural disasters and giving humanitarian aid, led by NATO/EU or UN. The purpose of the exercise is to demonstrate interoperability between the army, the civilian agencies and the countries in the region.
During the exercise, Self-evaluation level 1 of the Light Mobile Hospital of level 2 is going to be carried out in order to meet the conditions of the partnership goal 4244.
Demanding preparations preceded the exercise realized through: Conference on Designing the Exercise Concept; Initial, Major and Final Planning Conference and Workshop for Documents Production. The working language for producing documents is English, and the exercise specifications were timely produced – EXSPEC-Exercise Specification, Exercise Plan, Main Incidents List/ Main Events List, as well as other necessary documents.
On Distinguished Visitors’ Day exercise participants will demonstrate one part of the activities they are going to be engaged in during the operations for dealing with natural disasters and giving humanitarian aid, led by NATO/EU or UN, such as: giving first aid; extraction, evacuation and protection of injured and sick, as well as suitable medical treatment at Light Mobile Hospital level 2 in areas affected by natural disasters.
Personnel of the Army of Republic of Macedonia, the Crisis Management Centre, the Ministry of Healthcare, the Ministry of Interior Affairs, the Protection and Rescue Directorate, the Red Cross, as well as servicemen of the armies of the USA, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Slovenia and the Kosovo Security Force will participate in the exercise.
