Brigadier General Orce Jordev was born in 1972 in Kichevo. After completing primary and secondary education in his hometown, he continued with military education at Military Academies in Zagreb, Belgrade and Skopje.
He began his military career in the special units as Platoon Commander in a Counter-terrorist Company, where over a period of 23 years his career developed together with the unit. In his career he performed many command and staff duties on battalion, and regiment-brigade level, and since 2019 with a Decree by the Supreme Commander he has been appointed as Deputy Commander at the Joint Operations Command, i.e. Operations Command Deputy Commander.
He continued his military education at the Command-Staff Academy, from 2004 to 2006, in Istanbul, Turkey where he also graduated from the National Defence School in 2015.
He has completed many courses in various educational centres in the country and abroad, as well as the
special unit courses, small unit tactital course, mountineering course, Staff and Command course, exercise-planning course, crisis communication course, etc. He participated in different military exercises of the special and land forces in country and abroad.
In his career he has received commendations, decorations and awards for affirmation, promotion and development of the Army, among other he received the Medal of Bravery from the President of Republic of Macedonia in 2011, a Golden Badge of the Army for partnership, coordination and cooperation, Golden, Silver and Bronze Badge for contribution to the army, a Bronze Badge for 10 years of service and a Silver Badge for 20 years of service in the Army. He speaks English and Turkish language. He is married, father of two.
