Colonel Nenad Miklosh was born in 1967 in Veles. After completing primary and secondary education in his hometown, he continued with military education at the Military Academy in Belgrade. After completing his higher military education, he began his military career in Sremska Mitrovica, and from the very beginning of the formation of the Army worked as a platoon commander, and later as a company commander at the Border Guard Training Center in Veles. During his military career, he performed several command and staff duties in the Training and Doctrine Command, the Joint Operations Command and the General Staff, including Chief of Cabinet of the Joint Operations Command Commander. His last duty was Chief of the Planning Department and Deputy Chief of the J-5 section in the General Staff.
In his military career so far, he enhanced his military education by specializing in command and staff duties at Fort Leavenworth in the United States in 2008-2009, and the School of National Defence at the “Rakovski” Academy in Bulgaria, 2020-2021. He has completed several courses in the country and abroad, among which: English language courses, Civil Military Cooperation, Humanitarian Disaster Operations, NATO Defence Planning Course and others. He has participated in several military exercises in the country and abroad. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards and commendations including the Army Silver and Gold Badge, and the California National Guard Commendation Medal. He actively uses English, Bulgarian, Serbian and Croatian languages. He is married and father of two children.
